HUNTER WINALIGN INSTALL CD SOFTWARE
So ANYONE at all that has previous experience reinstalling this older software and can help, that would be greatly appreciated. I have even tried this with IRQ10 and 5 same results. Now if i look at IRQ setting in win95 device manager and break down all the IRQs i can see IRQ11 shows unknown device, so the system knows something is there. (and yes i have tried just copying that file to local hard drive and repointed the ini file to it, no change, anyhow I am assuming that the vsensor.386 error is due to the hunter board not being found, as its probably needing to communicate to that board.

HUNTER WINALIGN INSTALL CD PC
reboots and I can run the Align, however i get another error indicated Vsensor.386 was not loaded properly, make sure the pc is running in 386enhanced mode, verify its in the right program location (which again i have no idea), its currently running from the floppy drive, win.ini points the vsensor.386 to A:\common\ioboard\vsensor.386) so the floppy must be in when booting the machine. it asks if i want to exit or not, if i don't exit it continues on with the install of the Align software. I get a message "Vsensor.386 was loaded in the system.ini, but the Hunter Input board cannot be detected." Next screen talks about if the Hunter board was not configured at IRQ15 the make sure the HSI_IRQ=xx is the correct number in the system.ini file, (which i have it set to HSI_IRQ=11) then goes on about contacting service, which is no longer in existence for this thing. however, this is where the major conflict rears its head. At this point you can run the setup on the A: drive and it sets up normally, with the expected thermal bar process indicators, asks again what type of install, CDROM or FLOPPY, i choose CDROM and it spins the CD up and starts the install. If you reboot the PC and eject the disk during boot, it starts to boot windows 95 but stops error reading drive A: so you put the disk back in and it continues to boot, now it boots into a progman shell (the old win3.1 program manager) instead of explorer shell (windows 95) albeit there are still win95 items you can still run, its just a older program manager that is displayed. I have a Floppy disk with and a Cd for the the WinAlign ver2 install, the floppy disk, states to put the disk into the floppy drive and power on the computer, which at that point it boots off the floppy, I choose the CD INSTALL (NOT EXTERNAL) and you can see it detect the MPEG decoder card showing the IRQ and DMA, tries to reset the scsi bus, but there is not a scsi drive, so it moves on, eventually dropping to the A: prompt with a indication that it cannot run on MS DOS 7.0 or earlier versions This had the jumper set at IRQ11 so i have left it that way. Now the fun part, i have done this install about 4 times now with different IRQ settings, The card that is left is the HUNTER input board or the sensor board.

OS is win95 osr2 () I have a trident TUI video card that has a pig tail that goes from that pci Trident card to a REAL MAGIC ISA MPEG decoder card, the Trident installed just fine with the w95 drivers and the magic card is also installed with IRQ12 DMA 7, both are successful installs There is also a Hunter input board or sensor board, this has a ribbon cable going from it to the feature connector on the trident card. Trouble is, the hard drive crashed, now I'm in the process of cleaning and refurbishing the pc and currently in the midst of the reinstall process of operating system to fix it.
